I'm back.. but a little curious

Postby coreservers » Fri Jul 27, 2007 6:42 am

I'm back. fsx loads and flys. However It is now installed to my Sata data drive (I have 2 now), having had to manually remove it from C when the drive began to die and also having run a reg cleaner. I've lost all my planes. but my awards have stayed, although the log book is empty.

Is there a hidden save games folder or did I miss the fsx.cfg file when removing?

fsx.cfg is in Documents and Settings\your account name\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX
the logbook is saved in Documents and Settings\your account name\My Documents\Flight Simulator X Files

The logbook is only created after you've started FSX and flown at least once. If you didn't copy the logbook to another place in your hd then, when you uninstalled FSX, it was deleted. The next time you uninstall FSX remember to backup the files in the folders indicated above.
