A follow on

I'm back up and running temporarily.
I've inserted teh fsx install disk to do a repair. and it just sits spinning. So I thought.. do and add remove programs, and I clicked the "change\remove" button. FSX just disappeared from the listing, the folders etc are still there. but the program itself is not. I then put the dvd in again. and it began a full re-install. then hung on validation.

:D  Just a thought but when I upgraded from FSX to FSX deluxe I had a similar problem.  I had to uninstall all traces of FSX and then run a registry cleaner.  After that everything ran smooth.
