Postby Mr.Mike » Sat Jul 14, 2007 4:13 pm

Microsoft visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime error
R6025
-Pure Virtual Function.

How can I prevent this from happening again....  some times its only 5 min into a flight, some times its half an hour.

Ideas, suggestions?

Having the same problem when in multi player session.  I download the recommended file, then  installed it, rebooted, and I am still having the same problem.  I have been using since January and the problem started about two weeks ago.  Any other suggestions?    Thanks in advance.

If someone wants to hack you really badly, no firewall can stop him.

If you have a router equipped with a firewall, you can switch off the Windows firewall. If you don't have am router, leave the Windows firewall up and running.
Anything else just eats resources.

By the way:

The R6025 error seems to pop-up in just about every program once in a while.
I haven't found a real, global solution either.

The only thing I can suggest is uninstalling FSX, cleaning up the registry and reinstalling.
Don't forget SP1.

Do not ever, ever switch off a windows firewall because you have a router firewall (hardware firewall).  You need both of them, its a big no no to get rid of the windows version.  The hardware firewall checks for different criteria to that of the Windows version and does not have as many rules made up for it.  Secondly, virtually anyone can Telnet into the router, turn off and/or change the password access without you even knowing.  Some are protected against this, but this is only one way to get in.  Use both of them people, and don`t ever be led into dropping one of them.
