HELP! I DELETED MY DC-3!!

I'll just post a new DC-3 on the site for ya.

That's probably the one thing you SHOULDN'T have done.

Someone comes on, saying they've deleted the DC-3 with no real explaination whatsoever (as to why they deleted it, and why, for some reason, they can't get it back through a reinstall) - you don't just help out by uploading (illegally, I might add) the said files.

  Giving the guy the benafit of the doubt, I somehow deleted the DXDiag file from FSX but found it in the recycle bin, a repair has worked whenever I screwed up something.  Make sure all references to the DC3 are out of your aircraft folder.

How is it illegal?  I now have the plane back and evreything's ok...  It should be, at least.

Fighta Pilot has been banned for illegally uploading the Default FSX DC3 in it's entirety to SIMV.

There are, and have been plenty of warnings that piracy will not be tolerated ..... It's even on the sign up page http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2 ... 1184152732

At the moment there is a temporary upload system to the download pages which, due to Pete's foresight, the Admin staff have access to and are able to delete bad files from. Had the Admin staff not been able to delete the file then SIMV's stance on piracy would have been severely compromised.

Some of the comments in this thread imply a lax attitude to illegal file sharing. We don't discuss or condone it here whatever you do outwith this site is your business don't bring it here.
