Also I think retailers should have to put stickers on the box to tell purchasers to install SP1

How about another that says "This Game Will Not Run Properly On Mom's Two Year Old Computer"

I hope that you can get someone at Redmond to listen.  Otherwise they have a version that will have to be written off as a failure, and they should start writing the next version now.  Forget Adrenaline and the Train sim, otherwise they just may lose the general public for Flightsim which has been one of their most enduring titles.  The situation surely is businees critical and they should be aware of this.

Well I finally eliminated my blurries. I deleted the FFTF line and set TBM to 160 and they're pretty much gone..

Thanks Nick. I am in no hurry, relax and enjoy your cruise.

I will play with it some more. My biggest problem is room temperature, in the evening it gets quite warm in the room my puter is in. With the profile 2 overclock I was getting heat spikes to 63 deg, today it is cool in here and is staying below 60 deg.

I need a new house.... sigh.

Trust me on this.. its a rob peter to pay paul. I also found a high TBM at first worked but then as I used the sim I noticed other issues related to TBM being too high,

fly for a while and see if the scenery and everything remains good everywhere. Flying in the sticks or in one location doesnt count you gotta spend some time around in different areas to confirm. And especially in a jet @ 5000 or under

If its working for you, thats all that counts. Nice if it holds up.

I've been testing it in KSEA. So far so good. I will check out other places.

The single prop putters work fine... fly the 747 @ 250-300 @ 4000 and under and tell me its OK

Wasn't that bad... Flew @ 4k feet with 250 - 300 kts out of KSEA and it wasn't that bad. Don't get me wrong there were some blurries here and there but overall it wasn't that bad..

Good.. perhaps you found something that works..  the problem is with this software, more than likely no one else can use your settings to do the same thing  ;D ;D

Love the song, but prefer a single malt, Laphroaig preferably.

Oh Nick:  and say there will be no more work on SP1
We've moved on to patch for DX10
                    So be grateful
It isn't good but it could be worse.
Better frames and lots more blurries
                    Pop-popping scenery
                    out of memory
but brilliant scenes when you press pause
A whole new world of expensive stills
So love it Nick and go catch fish
We'll all be here when you get back to help us make the best of worse.

Pass me a Scotch, quickly - no resemblance to poetry intended or implied.

Oh and when I get my new eight core e9000 and the super ATI or Nvidia with 2 gigs of onboard RAM and more pipes than my intestines, it'll run so smooth!!!  Pity about the poor, let them eat cake.
