Well, yeterday I was flying a short low altitude IFR hop from Leesburg Executive Airport (KJYO) in Leesburg, VA to Reagan National (KDCA) in the default Cessna 172. I take off runway 35 and Potomac approach has me immeadiately swing to heading 155. They were vectoring me around for the approach on runway 1 at DCA. But, I ended up flying right over Dulles International (KIAD) And it was not like I was at 30,000 feet, I was only at 3,000 feet. Is this supposed to happen? My flight plan in the planner looked nothing what ATC had me fly but thats understandable because they had to swing me around for runway 1.
