I'll tell you what I especially love about FSX...

I purchased FSX on the very day it was released in the shops in England, and immediately added it to my Hard Drive, which already contains my copies of FS 2004, FS 2002, FS 2000, and FS '98.... 8-)...

So....

When it's dull, miserable, and raining outside, and I'm feeling at a loss for something really exciting to do, I pop into the  FSX Forum every now and again, and say something like...."Do you know what?... I'm really not too fond of FSX!".... ;)....

I then just sit back in my comfy chair and wait for all the various, rather unpleasant, over-excited, dedicated little FSX Children to leap upon me, crying, screaming, waving their arms, shaking their fists, and threatening to take me apart with their bare hands for uttering such a terrible thing!.... :o...!

They fall for it every time, while I cruise around with my copy of FSX and a great big smile on my face.... ;D...!

.....and then it stops raining, and the Sun comes out.... :-*...!

It's what I do, and it works every time....trust me...!

Paul......I love it!... [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]...!

Naw.. nothing that brutal..  The only thing that gets me riled, is blatent mis-information. You know you're hardware's just not up to the task, and know honestly why you can't enjoy it.

But you will, in time.. and will see that FS9 is to FSX    as   VHS  is to  DVD   ;)

Brett....;)...

My existing hardware runs my FSX reasonably well, (as an alternative to my FS 2004), with a few adjustments here and there.

What I love about the FSX Forum is observing all the various comments, for and against the program....
...and finding that it's an excellent opportunity to make a list of all the war-like Sim V Folks whom I would rather not make friends with, and avoid at all cost, and definitely would NOT invite to my Birthday Party... ;)...!

...Jeepers-Creepers!...Its a long list!... :o..... ;D...!

Paul... 8-)...!

Fozzer:  if your explanation is correct, that the whole thing is tongue in cheek, it shows a sense of humour I suppose.  But if you did it for some sort of satisfaction I am sorry for you.  You probably also pull wings of flies, and stub cigarette butts on your cat.  Get a life.

It seems that some of them have long forgotten their "Monty Python" English roots with regard to comedy?... ::)...!
