Id set your water at 2X low, you wont notice difference except maybe in frame rates. As for dual core optimization, load of codswallop. Many users have disabled second core and seeing no difference in FPS or anything else and that goes for both intel and amd users. It really is funny ( half hearted laugh ) to disable the second core and watch the single core going flat out then enabling second core and watching both go flat out and see no differnce in game. I guess they have a long way to go.

I took the plunge yesterday. Before I started, I installed SP1 and.................wow. Why did I wait so long (apart from being too tight to lay the money on the table).

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Whenever you get the choice and playing offline, dump as many programs from your task tray as you can, turn the network/internet connection off, turn off the Anti Virus and then see how much smoother it is.  Works for me, and loads 10 times quicker too.  Easy to turn it all back on afterward.  I often download the 12 hour weather, then turn the net and AV off and then continue running FSX.  So much better......
