Sorry about the last one, but was taken from a fiberglass waist gunner window in a B-17

Texas is not a desert either...  >:(

most of the FSX winter / summer time textures for Texas show most of the state as being a sand dune. when in reality, just about every inch of the Eastern half of the state looks like friggin' Ireland in the Spring. of course a lot of that depends on the wetness of winter, but even in a fairly dry winter things in the Eastern half of the state are fairly green.

right now i can assure you that if were to fly anywhere in the Eastern 50% of the state of Texas it would be green rolling hills and plains, with lush green pine trees and oak trees and deep green grass. Even portions of the western half of Texas are fairly Green right now.

Yeah, i'm really tired of the USA textured as the Sahara desert :(  and I can't download the scenery that fixes that (WAY to big!)

Hey rabbit, that just gave me an idea! Download the FSX texture fixes for USA. It said that it fixes the "desert" problem. 8-)

...it's a funny old do...

But our views of the Nevada Desert outside of Las Vegas in "CSI" on the Television, always show sandy, dusty desert, covered with dry shrub...and very little else... ::)...?

And the Arizona Desert, in the Cowboy films, is always bare rocks and sand...

And Texas just has lots of Cows and Cowboys messing about in sand... ::)...!

I think the U.S. is a very sandy place...full of sand.... ;D... ;D... ;D...!

Paul...England is green and grassy...with trees... :-*...!

But it is a sad misrepresentation of what are the complex textures of the real world.  I haven't yet bought Ultimate Terrain X for USA, but intend to.  Has anyone installed and tried it? Does it make a difference.

Well, they messed up quite a few countries, so don't act like they are singling you Nevadans out.

- Italy
-Australia
-America
-Germany
-Russia

These are just a few, and as major countries, are unacceptable.
