I have goldenwings and I've never seen any animals. Is it only at specific airporsts, or is this a seperate add-on that goes with GW? I'm at work at the moment, and their network prevents me from opening that link. ::)

Also, if there are bird strikes, then what about bugs? I wonder if bugs will spatter on the windshield. And what happens if you fly an open-cockpit? :o

If you open the canopy mid-flight, then you'll meet Daffy Duck real quick. As for bugs, I doubt it. Flies are so small, they might appear as nothing more than mere pixels. I don't know about you, but since bugs outnumber humans completely, I don't like the idea of having little black pixels swarming around the monitor. ;D

I think the deer showed up in a flight in the Swift made by Bill Lyon, may have been something included with the aircraft download.
That or maybe in the update? Don't know installed all at the same time and never tried them without one thing or the other installed. But it was a grass strip.
if I have time this evening I will load it up and see if I can locate the airfield that the deer are attacking ;)

No need. I just remembered that the deer are at Swift Creek, the airport scenery that came with the swift. I don't know how I forgot, I even recommended that download to someone once because of the deer. I'm only 22 and memory is slipping. :P

They said there would be wildlife and I would be very interested to see what that delivers...
What I want:
1) Bird strikes
What I wouldnt mind:
1) Herds of Animals running around below you in national parks and responding to the incoming aircraft by changing direction
Thats it!  ;D ;)

Indeed I do want to chase the animals... Another neat touch would be that they run faster if the sound is loud.... so that my F-16 could really give them "a run for their money"  ;D ;D

I was once taxing down the taxiway (This happened in real life, not sim ;)) and a deer ran in front of me. I had to hit the brakes. I wasn't taxing very fast so it wasn't a big deal.

And after lastnight, I really don't care to see any more deer ::)

Or maybe a fence? I know it's a bit unorthodox, but it might just work... ;)
