Postby tree269 » Tue May 29, 2007 7:35 pm

When i try to add the jetblue 2004 embrarer to the default embraer folder that i download u know how u have to add the thing in the notepad that u have to put the numbers in order and all that stuff i added that to the notepad document aircraft.cfg file and it comes up with this message i am doing it the same way that i always do

Cannot create the C:\DOCUME~1\Computername\LOCALS~1|Temp\Temporary Directory14 for E190ac.zip\E190ac\E190ac\E190AC\Aircraft.cfg file. Make sure that the parth and the filename are correct.

Cannot create the C:\DOCUME~1\Computername\LOCALS~1|Temp\Temporary Directory14 for E190ac.zip\E190ac\E190ac\E190AC\Aircraft.cfg file.

Did you extract the file first? From that path it looks like you're trying to edit Aircraft.cfg in the zipfile.

PS. If you're adding a repaint to an aircraft that's already installed to FSX you're trying to edit the wrong file.

I think I know what's happened. Download the files again & this time right-click on the 'Download this file now!' link. Select 'Save Target As' & point it at your download folder.

Install the base aircraft to FSX & check it out first before attempting to add repaints to it.

Just move the Aircraft.cfg file to your desktop and add the info save it and then move it back. It's what I have to do.  also when I do that I don't have the call sign of the airline so I add them to the airlines file in the microsoft flight simulator x file I have to move it to desktop too to get it to save.
