SP1: Still have to confirm each gauge :(

Hi all,

Just an advise before you install SP1: save a copy of your acutal FSX.cfg first !
Why ? Simple -> in order to copy the whole list of gauges that you had to confirm in the past into your new FSX.cfg, else the game will ask you again to confirm each gauge of each addon aircraft.  :-/

I understand the matter about security, the risks etc... but this stuff about having to confirm EACH SINGLE GAUGE for EACH SINGLE AIRCRAFT is really making me NERVOUS !!! I mean, I HATE this functionnality, why isn't there just a single button "confirm for all gauges of this aircraft" on this popup ?  [smiley=angry.gif]

And of course, I suppose we will still get this stupid error message for each incompatible gauge, right ? So that we loose a little more time... [smiley=thumbdown.gif]

Sorry, I'm a bit angry about this, I really hoped that SP1 would remove that stuff... I'll go back flying now. At least for the performance, SP1 has done some real miracles on my poor machine. Thanks for that.

So, is there really no solution to that problem ?
I was thinking about installing the An-24, the Tu-114 and the Tu-154 on my FSX, but most likely I will commit suicide before I can flight those planes if I really have to confirm each single gauge  :'(

That's what I've been describing in my initial post, but it work only if you already loaded those gauges in the past.
If you install a plane you've never flown before, you're in trouble, especially if it's a plane like the ones I mentionned above, full of gauges !  :o

Well, the Mig15 works just fine, and the Tu-95 Bear as well, but I didn't try the ones I mentionned above.
