Turn it off now... you are loosing performance from the font generation believe it or not. In FS9 it costs almost 3 frames.


I shall learn of the way.

Keep the window in full mode too. The menu bar and window mode is an issue. I sometimes have to hit ALT/ENTER twice to clear the problem when it shows from time to time even in full screen mode.


Tip: hold down ALT next time it does that

I will try that.

I thought I did try it in the past but I can't remember. ALT/ENTER aways worked so I stuck with it.

I believe I found my sweetspot.

I set autogen slider back to Dense and set the following lines in the config file:

TERRAIN_MAX_AUTOGEN_TREES_PER_CELL=3000
i7 920
