I want you to enter the BIOS and change the CPU MEM MANUAL to CPU PRECISION TWEAKER

I want you to try and set the FSB in CPU PRECISION TWEAKER

Set the memory timing from MANUAL to AUTO

Then try the CPU Precision tweaker again but this time set it to 1320

If this does not work, then bootstrap using that setting is not possible.

It wont let me gain access to CPU Precision Tweaker option if I set the memory timing to Auto. It overrides everything.

Really. Thats interesting.

Ok. I will look into it further but to tell you the truth, I think you are maxed and its time to run the new settings and see how it does.

22% FSB overclock
21% CPU overclock

and it cost you:

2% memory speed loss from 333MHz to 325MHz

not bad, not bad at all

Especially since your original timing when we started this was

5-7-7-19-31 @ 2C

If it holds at 4-4-4-12-15

You do realize if you had a processor with a multiplier available and DDR2 800 memory, you would be kicking FSX a$$ right now even without a video card clock.

Lets go ahead and clock your card up a tad.

Make sure FSX is closed

Set the 3D Core to 600 and the 3D memory to 900 (1.800). Click the TEST CHANGES button and see if it passes and if it does, make sure it remains at the set levels of 600/1800

Fly that. If you notice any graphics error, stop FSX and reduce it by 20MHz on each clock.

breaking my own rule here a bit... just want to see if the system is really stable
