In short, gamer, there really is no simple way to add AI (unless you are willing to buy a traffic pack).

u could use the traffic SDK to create ur own flightplans for other aircraft.

wats good about freeware aircraft, is that the exterior is always pretty good, but sometimes, there is no virtual cockpit as most of us would like.  that makes certain freeware the perfect candidate for AI traffic flying around.

FS Water Configurator+ has new modifications in the works, plus DirectX 10, Service Pack

You don't need the SDK to add AI traffic.

And the method hasn't changed since FS 2002, so have a google for "AI traffic tutorial" and have fun reading.

Yeah, the problem is that pretty much every package is different...

Basically, (if the package doesn't come with it) you have do download TTools.  Then, Follow the download instructions.  Generally, you'll have to paste an included timetable into you Flights section (i think) then, add the aircraft, etc.

Not really helpful, but download a package and it's pretty well straight forward from there...
