Alrot, this is what my default scenery looks like in Valencia:

You seem to have more of those buildings than I do. I flew around the city and could only spot a few. I'm not sure why yours is like that..

Sorry for the low quality. Trying to keep it under 100k

This is what I found on RoofDescriptoins.spb through a simple google search,

Remove generic autogen, but keep custom autogen. Here is a method of disabling the generic autogen buildings (such as small homes) but leaves the trees and custom autogen (such as gas stations and factories). This is kind of the opposite of the rename the default.xml mod below.

Simply rename the RoofDescriptions.spb from the Autogen folder.

Go to the scenery library and delete the folder: XCLSA  from the list. You can add it back after a test.

Let it recompile. Normally you do not have to close the sim but after it compiles close FSX and reopen... launch the flight at your airport. You should find those buildings are gone but the mountains and landscape may not be as well defined

ALROT, Be careful with replacement textures, heres why:

A: They make buildings blurry
B: It's possible for them to GIVE you stutters
C: They may prevent SP1 from installing properly when it comes out.

So yeah, TRY the replacement textures but for gods sake, BACK THE ORIGINALS up so you don't have to fragment your Harddrive and so you don't have to waste time reinstalling fsX if it messes up. Personally I use original textures as modified ones CREATED stutters for special buildings such as sky scrapers.

Also, ALROT, drop the:
TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=240

ALROT, try both mine and Miltest pilots numbers, you can then try boosting LOD_Radius (scenery radius) from 3.5 to 4.5. That should increase the load on your computer by about 28.57%. To get around the lessened performance divide your favourite autogen numbers by 1.2857 and use the product of that sum as autogen numbers.

EG.
Lod_Radius at 3.5:
Trees=1000
Buildings=500

Lod_Radius at 4.5: 1000|500 divided 1.2857=
Trees=778
Buildings=389

The reason for doing this is you should have identical performance yet much nicer scenery. The only cost is the autogen directly below you won't not be as dense.

P.S: This is just what I think and it DID work for ME.

EDIT:
If you still get stutters after increasing LOD_Radius, try lowering Autogen trees by 50 and Buildings by 25.

Hmmm, that's strange for the buildings...  :-?
From what I can see in my "autogen" subfolder, it seems that I have only modified the autogendescriptions.spb (still have the original one renamed in the folder) and the default.xml (also have the original one renamed in the folder).

Alrot, to make the things easier, I have uploaded the files I am currently using in my autogen subfolder.
Maybe if you have some time, you could save your files there and replace them by mines ?

So I made it better or worse? Sorry my reading skills are bad ever since I headbutted a golf ball at school today.  :-?

Anyway, blurries:
Try locking the framerate at 17 then try, if you don't like it that low, put it back to were it is and then:

Try upping FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.xx slightly, if that doesn't work, you can try turning up TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=120 to 140. 140 is a high value for your card though, so I would think FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION would help more than turning Tex_ban_mult up.

If you keep getting problems at a framelock of 17 also do the above.

If you keep getting blurries or stutters I think you may need to back down on autogen.

Anyway I'll see you tomorow on here.

Cya.

If you're courageous enough, you can also edit the default.xml with the Autogen SDK.

I could remove most of the too american looking objects from Germany by doing this (gas stations, fast food, baseball fields, etc...). It may even help performance a bit.
