Is it me Or the Airbus 320 Dynamics are too fake?

Postby alrot » Sat Mar 24, 2007 12:02 pm

I notice that ,It lift too soon, even without flaps down, It reach 250 knots too easy ,its hard to make it slow to land and the spoiler seems like don't do a very good job ,and the cockpit VC can't move the knobs of HDG,CRS,IAS,etc..and the radio Sucks, I think its could be an exeption comparising with the boeings and Bombardier ..Is it too fake or is it me?

To much power and no control basically sums it up :)

On the other hand, I've heard that an empty A318 basically flies like a fighter jet. Try this with a 737...

This is why God gave us addon developers! :D Eventually, a replacement will be released. For now, just hold tight, and Happy Landings!

Has it occurred to anyone to substitute another aircraft.cfg gile from a better-behaved A321, or to take AirEd and match up the specs in the Airfile? It wouldn't exactly be a huge project, and might net a better-flying aircraft. Heck, while at it, why not swap in the flight characteristics of the Aircration Trike. :)

It wouldn't be much work, the minimum requirements would be adapting the new airfile to the default A321's [Contact Points].

Yet then again, the only other freeware A321 out there would be iFDG's. And I doubt that their airfile is any better than the one of the default A321.

I have the same problem with the Default Airbus. I find it too unresponsive and slow to handle. I find if you turn off the first 3 flight control computers on the overhead panel it responds much much better. But, it is really unrealistic to do this.
