What is the default of this forum?
Do you normally tweak the Vcard in the system settings or the settings within the FSX Application?
Which is better?

Both.

For actually card settings like Anti Aliasing, Mip Mapping, Aniosotropic Filtering, etc you use the video card settings.  For simulator settings like scenery complexity you use the sim.

I usually tweak the graphics card settings-read to do that somewhere, maybe it was here:

Read Gunnerman's first post. That is what I read to do.

Edit: I see that I've been beaten to a reply. Jayhawk would be the "people who know what they're talking about" that I was referring to, and he corrected me just like I said would happen. ;D
