GPS Airport ID Enter...

Postby bowler_man » Sat Mar 17, 2007 10:36 pm

Is there a way to enter a number in your waypoint type box thingy in your GPS? Because some airport indentifiers have numbers in them, and I can type letters, but when I type a number, nothing happens. Is there a way I can put one in?

It will accept a mixture of numbers and letters if the one you`re entering is a proper code.  If you have the Deluxe FSX and have the SDK loaded there is a list of all the codes in there.  You could use this to test the numbers entry, from memory I think certain german airports have a number in the code.  The place to watch is using the letter O and a number 0.

SDK=Software Development Kit. It's on disk 1 of FSX
What do computers and air conditioners have in common?Image
They both will work perfectly, until you open windows.

Does it download automatically when you download FSX?
