okay this is what I bought

Dell xps 710 h2c ( watercooled )
H2C - Intel Core2 Quad Core Extreme QX6700 Processor (2,66 GHz, 1.066 MHz, 8 MB cache) overclockable to 3.6 ghz with this type of cooling!
4.096  Dual Channel DDR2-geheugen
DUAL 768 MB nVidia

Its nice, but to tell you the truth, I would have saved that 5G and waited a couple months for DX10..... ::)

hmm.. to me, you know that your pc can run more than you expected, no hesitate on that kind of spec. no need to ask but hey, i agree wait till DX10...

yeah but future games will be worthwile playing on it imo. fsx is not the only game i play. For example oblivion ir some games like that are peanuts on this pc as i have seen reviews

there is already direct x 10 support drivers for the geforce 8800. there are just no games yet. I wanna test crysis on this machine

It will run FSX with little sacrifices in settings and detail. Period.

I hope you're running 2 monitors because that 2nd graphics card will be wasted otherwise!!  (SLi mode will make no difference!)

hey jim you just talking bout FSX. because you're frames almost double with SLI bro.
maybe you have the wrong drivers installed lol

You may be right...hadn't checked for a while..I see 97.92 came out January 10....I run multi-monitor anyway so SLi is no good to me.

Hi Jodi, yes that will be able to run FSX fine, but not at max as no PC atm can run FSX at max.



I tend to differ.

I can have all my settings at max, and still get a good 7 fps. .....of course, thats in the mountains and in the dessert where there are hardly any buildings, but, that's beside the point :P
