C-172 Oil Pressure Gauge

This has been annoying me for some time now that the oil pressure gauge in the 172 does not get a reading until about 25-30% throttle, and in the real world if you don't have a oil pressure gauge reading in a few seconds your in trouble, because thats means that there it little or no oil in the engine , so is there a fix for this problem? :-?

Mine works. At idle it sits at slightly above the bottom red line. Throttle up and it moves into the green. Back to idle it drops back to slightly above the red line. Kill the engine and it drops to the bottom.

Do you have standard or deluxe edition?, because I have the standard edition

I have Deluxe. Can you post a screenshot at idle? I'd like to see the difference.
