I went from 1 gig to 2 gigs and I noticed a huge difference. If you want all the bells and whistles you'll need at least 2 gigs of ram to run at it's best just like Battlefield 2.

I've done this millons of times for customers, I even work in 5 diferent public internet chats ,making improvment ,fixing ,etc ,I know all about static ,besides the device die 15 min after I turned on, a diode or somethig came with an imperfection  small device as a diode or multiple transistor could had a link , it heat too much and die ,killing the DDRII..I'ver seen this in Hard drives too, the test in all hardwares is after you assemble one PC, wait two hours if it survives then everything its ok

To be honest...one gigabyte isn't that much.

Especially not for FSX.

P.S: Vista is a performance hog.

I mean that Vista is a complete waste of hard disk space and performance.

As long as there are no new lean shells and drivers, I'm not even thinking about upgrading.

It just has too much useless stuff for my taste.
