problems

Postby dale_8888 » Fri Feb 09, 2007 9:22 pm

Hey guys, with some of the planes I have downloaded for fsx they come up with errors to do with the display and things like that. The F-16 doesn't really bother me because it has like 3 errors, however the F-14 has like 40 or something so it gets annoying pressing clicking every time it comes up. I was wondering if you guys have had the same problem or fixed it. If  you've fixed it can you please tell me how. Also with some of my planes, the P3-C is the only one I can think of, when I try and search through the views, when I try and look at the plane...it's just plain sky, and when I remove the dash to just view the guages, the outside is just blue and white. Can anyone help me fix this problem?

I could be wrong here since you don not list what the errors you are getting. It sounds like you might have some old DLL'S.\
Even though the plane is for FSX the gauges might not be and use some of the old DLL files like FSSOUND.DLL is just one of them Rember what you had to do in FS9[ Create an OLD MOUDLE entry in the FSX config file.] You will have to list each DLL file in this area like follows

[OldModules]
FSSound.dll=1

Old gauges from fs98 and some from fs8 and fs9 is not supported by fsx.
You'll need a replacement by default fsx gauges, or search an update for the plane. An update might not solve the problem, cause the makers are too hasty at the moment..
