Paste them into the SimObjects folder in C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAME\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX\SimObjects.

You'll need to show hidden folders in order to see the Application Data folder.

WHat models are you trying to install, from where?  DId you simply paste models from your FS9 Aircraft to the Simobjects\Airplanes?

Hey Tykidd,
There's nothing better than "Addit! Pro" for downloading and installing everything you need for your Flight Sim. And very simple. Great tool.   Go to:  www.byteforge.com

You can download it, try it for 30 days, and if you're happy with it, *I know you will* register and pay fore it on line, its under $30.00.

All the best, and now I'll go install some new Aircraft and Sceneries, and off we go FLYING.....WOW  ;D

John.

I found out something rather disturbing :-? the other day after having reinstalled FSX...namely, only one variant of each aircraft was showing in the selection window. Turns out there is a checkbox near the bottom of the same page, to " show all variants"  or something similar. This took care of the problem - don't know if it is related to the above but might be of help.

p.s. - Can anyone think why in the world would one would NOT want all variants to be shown/available??
