Tjw2.
Can you show me that in a video recording???
A spit landing on a carrier without tail hooks!
That would make my flying experiences to be grounded....

Are these carriers that you are talking about like the one I have seen at Norfolk Naval base... at the pier or are they located "out to sea" as it were....?

The one at San Diego is docked at the pier on the north side of North Island.

I have never made a video Kilotango but the plane stalled right before i got to the carrier. I also didnt follow the runway i came in at an angle which used the takoff and landing area also i had to use the tailwheel to turn and throttle up to keep the plane from going of the edge of the deck. Personaly I would like to see someone stop the civilian p51 mustang on the carrier myn went for a swim many times while trying that. But like i said earlier I havent been able to repeat it since.

There is an add-on called aicarriers1.zip that I downloaded from avsim.com (sorry Pete, I haven't seen it here yet). It places AI carriers in quite a few places in the world. These carriers are moving, and a challenge to find. The deck is solid so you can land on it. You can not save a flight with your aircraft parked in the carrier because the carrier wont be in the same spot next time you start the Sim. Also your plane does bounce a bit while parked because the carrier is bouncing in the waves.
