to or from interesting airports, or over some cool scenery. preferrably 500-800nm. i've done denver to las vegas, and seattle to san francisco in a 737. all IFR. i'm looking to explore more of the world.

You explore the world in IFR at high altitude ? You miss everything !
Have a look to the FS2004.com FSX forum, look for the thread named "around the world trip" or something like that, you'll see that only VFR low level flying is suitable to really enjoy the FSX world ;)

Pick a small prop aircraft and fly anywhere in Alaska... ;)

If not Alaska, fly in a GA aircraft. You will see more scenery at a lower altitude that at 30,000+ feet ;D

If you must:

Any airport in western europe to Innsbruck, Austria.
Any airport in western europe into London Heathrow..
Melbourne - Sydney
Singapore - Kuala Lumpar
Miami - Kingston/Montego Bay Jamaica

Plenty out there...

Hi c_jo_wo,

This website has some interesting places to fly to.

It's continually being updated with new places for FSX.

Apparently, you can't tell when someone is being too serious or not. We were simply giving you a hard time for trying to enjoy the scenery while flying IFR at high altitudes

Hint, Hint, Alaska really does has some excellent scenery to visit ;)

I'm currently doing a 'Around the World Flight' in non-other than the infamous Global Flyer and actually following his route.  But fun, short flights?  I do bush flying for Shavron Air and we've some pretty wicked destinations.  Love the Alaskan scenery and some of the damn near impossible runways.
