Postby DONTREADMYUSERNAME » Wed Dec 20, 2006 4:03 pm

Hey,

i just downloaded Phil Strokes' Mk 82 500 pound bomb in FSX (http://www.simviation.com/fsxmisc1.htm ). Now, what can i do with it?! Can i drop it from a plane? Is there a certain plane i need to get? Does it only work in missions? PLEASE HELP ME!

See link here for pics, so you have a good comparison.

I think its a fun idea,  but if I am going to carry bombs on an aircraft in a simulator, I want it to simulate carring 500 lbs per bomb, as well as the change in flight behavior after the payload has been delivered.  I love B-17's personally. Used to fly one all the time in FS9. Its such a great design.

You can try using the SDK to develop your own missions, using what ever aircraft you want, I suppose, even imported ones.

I know this is a bit off topic but all the talk of bombs on Ultralights reminded me of this I saw this year ;D

I'm pretty sure that is an Exocet anti-ship missle... ;)
