enjoying free flight

Postby chris49 » Wed Dec 20, 2006 12:41 pm

on another topic people were talking about enjoying free flight.
and it made me think.
i loved free flight in fs9.
but why was that,
then i realised pretty much every free flight mission involved me flying a high performance jet around england.
i found that really enjoyable.
but with fsx, there has't been any GOOD high performance jets ready for download.
and until there is, i don't think i would be enjoying myself as much in free flight than if i did.
my alltime favourite free flight was with the dsb hawk taking off from valley. then either flying round the welsh mountains, or flying to some city like manchester or london

You obviously didn't try the one I showed you. Downoad THIS one.

It's a complete package consisting of several repaints of 3 different versions of the Hawk. Paste the included gauges into the Panel folders of each version. About 3 gauges still don't work so remove them to avoid repeated warning messages.

i've tried downloading it twice, and i am trying again.
but everytime it completes downloading it comes up with a message saying that it is not valid.
then when it opens it in winzip, there is nothing there

It's a big file on a slow server so would easily get corrupted. Try again. Good luck.

You could try to download the FS9 version from here, and see if it works in FSX...
