How many of you have ever taken the Extra 300 for a flat spin? I did. Here is how a did it:

1. Take the extra to very high altittude.
2. Cut engine power completely.
3. Let the aircraft stall by pulling up a bit and hold it there.
4. As the aircraft stalls, apply full rudder on either direction.
5. Switch to nose very and watch the world turn.
6. Switch to tower view and watch the plane spiral to its doom.

The effect is best noticed when you have the smoke turned on. You know, I'm starting to be a little more impressed with the dynamics of the Extra. It's the heck lot more improved in the stall aspect in FSX. However, I am a bit displeased to see that the smoke effect has not been improved.

Nop, but remember, a volumetric particle engine is something very complicated to get right looking and good running. Just take a look too lock-on.

youd like that wouldn't u?

say, about the particle thing, could ms (in the DX10 patch) utilize the physics processing capabilities in DX10 gpus so that particles and stuff can actually be calculated properly.
