BTW, Nick, others have stated here long ago that they are tired of your rants
I'm out of this juvinile thread.
Have fun without me!

No, people are tired of rants without arguments, people are tired about those who ignore the arguments of the others.

Nick has at least tried to provide some shots to show you why he was not agreeing.

What did you do ? You left... talk about juvenile stuff :P

I said that the ground texture LOD is lower in FSX than in FS9 and you definately agreed with that.

I said :"This is because of the new way FSX handels ground textures. The ground textures in the near distance are of lower resoulution than in FS9"

Now you are REALLY annoying me.

Nick and others, I think it is time to let this thread die.  What I thought was going to be a productive conversation on working to improve FSX with a variety of opinions, has turned into a he said she said.  Joe, I can not figure out why you wont contribute to this conversation in a more positive way, you have been a supportive member for a long time.  Im not asking you to be rosy, but explain what problems you are having and lets fix them.  You  have been here long enough that you had to have known that FSX wasnt going to be perfect right out of the box.  That is why I have decided to wait, let the patches come and the hardware develop.  Its okay to hate FSX, but if your not willing to help make it better, uninstall it and never buy another MS product again.  I have said it a million times, your decision on how to spend your money determines how companies act.  If you want to see change, support causes you believe in and stop supporting those you dont.  Money talks!  Todd

LUKLA, Nepal

Maybe this will help with the whole Lukla debate and whether FS9 or FSX has it "more correct"........ see links below.

This isn't about scenery glitches or a debate about if FSX has some growing pains to go through. It's about ranting and not contributing anything to either support the rant or offer help to people when they ask for it without telling them how much they were/or will be ripped off by Microsoft.

..and then do not list any good reasons to support that claim other than thier own obvious personal disgust of the company.

================================

EDIT: To those who are reading this thread and see how the discussion has degenerated, I could have left this thread alone but choose not to and in the process perpetuated the argument. I sincerely apologize for that part.

My personal annoyance stems from seeing people make claims, statements and rants which have little basis in fact except to the person who is upset about not being able to run the software to their own personal expectations and blaming the manufacture for their lack of hardware support.

Those rants about Microsoft do not help anyone make an educated decision of if they may want to try the software, nor do they assist anyone with an issue.

I do no apologize for giving a dissenting opinion, asking for proof of claim or calling someone on the carpet for making statements which are absolutely not true, for no other purpose than to continue to feel justified in ranting they got ripped off.

Just to set the record straight.............

When DizZa said:
You did not go off in a rant and dispute it at all.....you had plenty of oportunity to dispute it (and pick it apart as you do with my comments) if you wanted to.
So, one has to assume that you agreed with it.

Igonna have to agree with Cavity on this. This thread should settle down now. Pete, will you do the honors and TEMPORARELY lock this thread so that it can cool down? Felix? Ozzy? Anyone?

First you say you know there are many flaws in FSX. Then you say you have no idea what they are.

I honestly don't know who is more confused here......me or you.

Please read my last post again. You'll notice that I said that "my gut instincts tell me that there are" in the way of bugs. ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yes... Shout (laundry pre-spot) works great and its cheap.. mix it with just a bit of water then spray and leave it for about 30-45 minutes, when you come back it should just wipe/rinse right off with a spounge and you do not have to deal with harmful smelly chemicals.

Hope that helps!
