Glider Mission times

Has anyone completed the glider mission yet?

It took me three tries but i finally beat the course record.

My first try was 2Hrs 08Mins

I really like this mission its adictive.

I read on another forum that someone did it in 1Hr 08Mins, but didn't see any proof.

I found the glider missions very addictive as well. The only disappointing thing is when I fly free flight I can't seem to find any thermals. Maybe I just need to look someplace else.
Here's the logbook entries for my time...

The one highlighted is the Swedish racing course I'm thinking judging by the landing airport of ESSC which is the final destination in that mission. Looks like I did it in just under an hour  ;D

I did the glider mission in an hour and i think 10/20 minutes. Really addictive getting  all up high and then bringing that bird to a stop on the ground.

I think it was this mission that I got up to 12 or 13,000 feet. The glider needs some simulated oxygen equipment.  ;D

im not patient enough to fly gliders. i always run out of wind haha. the only glider mission ive completed in the game is the tutorial

make sure you have thermal visualization turned on in the display settings, it is under weather in the customize display settings window

It's on. I guess M$ doesn't think we get thermals in southern Michigan.

might be a little cold this time of year for thermals
