FSX multiplayer... or lack thereof...

Postby Boss_BlueAngels » Mon Nov 13, 2006 7:50 pm

Tried my first multiplayer session this evening and am rather frustrated.  We connected just fine through GameSpy but NO VOICE com worked.  We tried everything, maxed the volume/sensativity, even tried it through MSN messenger.  Messenger worked OK, although this stupid computer wouldn't allow it to go up enough, practically had to swallow the freakin' thing to get a reading on the other side with everything turned all the way up.

That never worked... and then when we finally gave up on that and tried flying, as the host, any time I would crash I would completely disappear from the other person in my session!  I was parked literally right in front of them, and they couldn't see me on their end!  How stupid is that?

Anyway, if anyone has had any other problems like this, please let me know before I go ballistic. haha

And when hosting I checked every option regarding voice chat, and had it for all players.

Thank you in advance, I'm sure its some simple fix.

Oh yeah, and even with the firewalls disabled, the stupid thing seemed to run worse!
The day is always better when you're flying upside down.
