Big green patch in the desert

Postby mtnbkr41 » Sat Nov 11, 2006 2:49 pm

Has anyone else seen this in FSX? It's a large green patch about 24 miles west of Phoenix, AZ.

He's at 17K feet, not a "small" town, lol.

Looks like a misplaced texture too me. Or the ground troops are trying to hide something big ;D

I saw this kind of thingy on the discovery channel.  In extreme conditions (like the desert), you may find densely inhabited areas of life.  The water table thing may be higher in that area.  I do not know at all why it is in the shape of a perfect square.
My PC Specs:

OS:
Windows Vista Home Premium (x32)

Hardware:
-ASUS P5N32-E SLI Motherboard
-Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Processor
-EVGA NVIDIA GeForce 8800GTS Video Card
-Western Digital 250GB Hard Drive
-PATR

Desert life in Arizona likes to keep itself tidy. ;D

;D Probably the funniest thing I will read today.

That is why I mentioned it being a misplaced texture, texture files are square ;)

Those ride-on lawnmowers are really quite something nowadays... ;D ;D

I alos expect it to be a random texture glitch - it's a perfect square and is in the middle of nowhere ??? :D
