fsx.CFG is outside the FSX root directory. If you have FS9 you will know where to look for it. The default location is
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX

It's a hidden file so set the Windows Explorer folder options to "Show hidden files and folders".

When you find the file create a shortcut to it & paste it to your desktop.

To get to fsX.cfg, do this:

Start---->run---->copy and paste this: '%appdata%\Microsoft\FSX' without quotes----> press enter----> open fsX.cfg.

pilotguy said he already searched for it. If you want to do it that way go to Search/Files and folders/Tools/Folder Options click the View tab & set the "Hidden files and folders" option like this.

Then simply type fsx.cfg in the box.

By the way, the FSX.CFG question is not included in the FSX FAQ topic. I think it should be added, since the FS9 FAQ has a point concerning the fs9.cfg...
