Main menu giltches.

Anyone else been having problems with the main menu section of FSX?  Every once in a while, I'll try to start a flight and I'll hear all the audio, but the screen doesn't switch to the game.  I sit there listening to the engine idle while I'm looking at my desktop.  Am I all alone here?  Also, it seems to take a little longer than it should to switch tabs in the main menu.  Example:  Clicking from the missions tab to the free flight tab takes about 10 seconds.

I don't know if this will work but when it won't show up, try hitting ALT + ENTER to switch display modes. Ya never know!

Yeah, I've tried the alt + enter thinking that might work, but no success.  I just have to be patient with it I guess.  Thanks for the advice!
