But I'm having a problem installing FS9 planes into FSX. I tried installing my Alphasim F-22 by putting the aircraft folder into the Simobjects>airplanes folder, the effects and gauges into their folders, and loading it up. The plane works fine in FSX, probably even better graphics wise, but, there's one tiny problem. The bottom part of the screen (about 1/3 of it), is a black space. It's just a dead area pretty much. If I load the 2D cockpit, the gauges and such that were in that area are stuck there, same with the parking break and any other messages down there. Same happens with my Aerosoft A-10, just that it's about an inch of dead screen.
Is this a common problem with installing FS9 aircraft into FSX, or did I screw something up ???
