This one is just for Roger... ;)

This would have been double if the Rebuffat Spitfires could work!

That's a lot of Spitfires. :o ;)

I can see what RollerBall is getting at with that new menu. With that number of aircraft it all looks very confusing even using the sub-menus. It occurs to me that it would be difficult finding the one you wish to fly. I'm wondering if there's a way of sorting them by Mark number so they at least run in order.

For some reason, the Plane Design Spits don't want to show up in the 'Publisher' Menu, though they do show up under other headings

I'm sure you know what you're doing but I can't think why that would be.

This is showing all variations.  If you uncheck that, it cuts down on the confusion a bit.  I would like to find a way to do as you suggest and make sure they're in order by Mk, instead of Publisher...

You are a total masochist. I'll send Ozzy over later with the whips and nipple clips.

I tried that, but couldn't come up with a respectable way to do it with the ui_ tags.  It seems it would have to be something like ui_created by=Mk XIV Real Air.  To me, that kind of defeats the purpose.  If anyone can think of a way, I'm all ears...

One thing I've discovered. Where you have an aircraft with any number of variations in one folder you only need to add the extra ui_ CFG entries once under [fltsim.0]. The other variations will be listed under the same Publisher & Aircraft Type headings automatically. This could save a lot of time & reduce the chance of simple errors.

PS. Assuming the FSX Demo is the same as the full release version.

A Schmittfire is in fact Spitfire Vb EN830 of 131 Sqn which was captured intact by the Germans in Aug. '43. It was fitted with a Daimler Benz 605 engine for experimental purposes ;)

Not captured totally intact. After all, they had to replace the engine.
