It has been awhile

Postby Eagleo » Sun Oct 22, 2006 9:39 am

Hi All: D/L FSX & have forgotten how to config my HOTAS. I was running FS9 and forgot how I setup my CH Fytr stick/Pro Peddles/Pro thrtl=USB.
My System= P4 3.0 Ghz 250 GiG HD  2 Gig ram  GEForce 7800GS 256  MB ASUS P4P800-E
I am using CH Mgr 4.10
Would appreciate advice or a clue :) as to setup for my HOTAS, at the moment I cannot get the rudders to activate.
Also I have searched for the FSX.cfg file and to no avail.
What I have seen so far is GREAT, my FPS=15.
Thank you for your patience, appreciate help in this matter.

...well by D/L I usually think of DownLoaded but I assume you mean Installed FSX? .....otherwise you are running a pirate copy :o ;)

Can't help with most of the stuff but the FSX.cfg is found in a similar way to FS9.cfg............. C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX\fsx.CFG with Show Hidden files checked.

...see you...commoner ;)

It's a common enough mistake. People are always confusing downloading with installing for some reason. ::)

Thank goodness that's settled. ::) ;)

I won't be much help as I don't have FSX or a stick + pedals. It's for FS9 but you might find this interesting. http://home.planet.nl/~nwkaan/flight_controls_yoke_pedals_throttle.htm

Just watch out you - after that crack in the other thread it won't be a stick you'll need, it'll be crutches as well....  ;D

FSX automatically senses all CH Products gear without the use of control manager.

You can find all the CH help you need here:

http://www.ch-hangar.com/

Check out their forums and you will probably be up and flying in less than a hour ;)
