In bf2 (Battlefield 2) I get a constant 60fps and it uses almost 800mb of memory while playing on a 16 player map. The game can use nearly 1.5gb when on a giant map full of 63 other players. :)

I get 90FPS on a 64 plaer map  :P  but still only get get up to 25FPS in FSX when i turn off autogen.

Keep in mind, games like Battlefield 2 and such are a totally different architecture than FS.  Battlefield will have a certain small are to encompass while FS must cover the entire globe (albeit, not all at once).  Vehicles and such are nowhere NEAR as detailed as the simplest FS plane, and as noted, autogen is a killer.  You can't really compare frame rates between the two.

That doesn't mean it is minimum to fly just minimum specs to see the splash screen.
