Being punished

Postby Scudrunners » Thu Oct 19, 2006 5:31 pm

Well I guess Uncle Bill read my post in this forum and decided to punish me for being a bad boy. I just got an email from Amazon.com saying that my order (FSX Delux) was being delayed and if I haven't received it by 10/26/06, the order will be cancelled. That be the last time I order from them.

When they're delayed, it's usually because of the huge influx of orders that were already put in before you did. Even if you put in the order months ago, it's a safe bet that a great number of buyers did the same thing.

As a result, the product becomes out of stock and are on back order as the retailer has to wait for the vendors to deliver the goods for restocking the shelves. Most deliveries take about a day or two to arrive for restocking. ::)

I think Amazon are being very kind to you!
After reading this FSX Forum they have decided not to put you through any more pain, anguish and frustration, and refused to send you of a copy of Microsoft's FSX Flight Simulator....
...therefore saving you money*...;)...!

You should be pleased...;D...!

Amazon is the absolute best online retailer there is!
I have only had one order cancelled, due to the item no longer being made, but other than that I usually get my orders within one day and no shipping charges using the Prime Membership.

They have had a notice on their site about FSX not shipping until late this week due to the amount of orders that have been placed, and I would have to assume that most stores anywhere have been limited to the amount of dvds they could buy for stock in the first production run. This sim has been on pre-order for awhile so those shipped first any order after that is first come first serve until they run out, no fault of theirs ;)

And you know when Uncle Bill is amd at you, he will give you the BSOD finger. lmao!

Please remember to comply with the CAA regulations for rat arsed pilots. That is for each pint of beer drunk you must delay your flight for eight hours. So no more flying for you for at least 48 hours   poverino!  ;D
