I think its because we all have DX9 lol... honestly! Yes they are blury in my FSX as well (Exterior textures that is) But I can live with it....

Check the configuration of your video card drivers, especially the performance/quality setting.
Check as well your AA, Anisotropic Filtering and MipMapping settings. You have to disable the AA in FSX and enable the one of your video card drivers instead. For the MipMapping, ensure you are using trilinear.

Finally, ensure that your display settings are set to max for the plane ;)

My aircraft textures were blurred as well ! !  until I tried the following.  Ensure that in the in  game graphics settings , the Global texture resolution is set to very high. It worked for me and a couple of others

"Unless things change they will remain the same."

FSX loaded from the initial screen the first time must be (S)aved as a flight to retain the new settings: Setup the Display Settings to what you want -- increasing aircraft textures until they are sharp -- and (S)ave the flight.

Load this flight each time you go flying FSX and move to other aircraft ot airports once loaded.

These are 1280x1024 Fullscreens on an aging 1.8Ghz processor. They have been reduced to 800x600 65dpi for posting. They still look good, IMO.

There are TWO ways to save settings... one as suggested a la FS9: Save Flight

The NEW method: SAVE SETTINGS from the /Options/Display/Save menu...

I now have EIGHT saved configurations that I can load, ranging from "Plain Vanilla" to "Extreme"... ;)

Would be better if you could explain us what you did and what you didn't do.

Heres the deal:

Open the game, start flying.

Alt-Tab out of the game.

Re-set display drivers

Enter the game.

That pretty much fixes it for me :)
