Got FSX thinking I wouldnt have any problems considering what I have... I was wrong. I noticed that people were saying there FPS sucked! I am also having that problem I just got done building a new PC as an early X-mas present and it cant even handle FSX!!! Here are my specs and tell me what you think?

CPU: AMD 62 X2 4200
MB: A8n32 SLI Deluxe
RAM: 2gig
GPU: I am running 2 in sli GeForce 7900 GT KO 256mb

That setup right there you would think would have a problem... Even when I turn things down the best I will see is around 10fps to 5fps

With that rig you would expect better frames

I have a P4 3.2 with 1500 ram and a ATI 9800Pro 256 mb vid card and i get the same framerate.
Ihave done CFG edits and installed different tree and building textures and this gives me between 9 fps in towns and cities and 15 in open country.
This is on medium/low settings.

ok mate look at the tweek thread down its called My FSX i think, and also, with that GPU u can overclock it very easliy. if u PM me i will help u overlcokc it to GTX speeds whihc will help a little.

Bet youll get better fps if ya have a 64bit os also (I am assuming you are useing XP)
