FSX restarts my pc

I know it's only a demo but I'm affraid the retail version will do the same thing.

It restarts the computer 5-10 seconds after loading the game. I remember fs2004 doing this with the onboard VIA/S3G Unichrome IGP but I now have a Sapphire ATI 9600 PRO w/256mb. I was messing around in the registry and found drivers from the old onboard card. I reinstalled Windows XP just in case but have not tried it since.

Just for the record, has anyone else experience this problem? I want to buy the game the day it comes out but I'd hate to keep having this issues. It doesn't even give me time to fly around to see what it's like.

When I tried out the demo, I never faced that problem at all. Are you sure your installation is not corrupted?

Not sure, it could be but I have not tried redownloading.
It still restarted my system even after a fresh installation of windows. I hope it's just the demo that way I can buy the retail version. Thanks for bringing that to my attention, I never thought of that.
