I'm a tiny bit grouchy... I was planning to order Flight Simulator X Deluxe off of Amazon.com .... but..they won't have it in stock until October 17.  AAGH.. at least 10 more days of being "grounded". (little FS joke there...  ;D )  

Update: WOOHOO!!! Just ordered Flight Simulator X Deluxe at Newegg.com for $67.(plus $9 shipping..). I can't wait to get all 14GB of FS X glory installed...  (P.S., I love my 500GB Western Digital Caviar SE16.)

went to wal-mart this morning (early) and they had the standard edition on the shelves so I picked up a copy and when the cashier couldnt scan it she asked me how much it was and I told her $39.99 :)

I bought a copy at Best Buy Canada today.

Don't know what the deluxe version sells for in the U.S. but it was $79.95 in Edmonton

Got mine today at Best Buy just down the road from where I work.

Am happily chugging away  ..... "insert FS-X disc 2", so I do....

my DVD drive decided to poop itself on disc 2.....




May be it is waiting for the official release dt you never know
it must have got too pally with MS+Bill Gates

Yeah, Wal-Mart gave me the run around too. I noticed today that they had 3 copies basically hidden on the games shelf. When the cashier tried to scan it, it didn't work. Then I went to Best Buy and bought it with no problem. ::)

I decided to spend a little extra and get the deluxe edition. I've only flown it a little bit though because my computer isn't quite up to it. I know I need more RAM, and probably a new vid card too. Is anyone else getting good results running an Nvidia GeForce 6600GT?


Wait till Vista is out do not buy any addons now because the
features of vista and system will be there of next 6yrs.Then only will you know the exact config.
