Well, I fell kinda guilty for not saying anything about these bugs in the demo that was released a few months ago and now i just hope MS can resolve them.

Well, I fell kinda guilty for not saying anything about these bugs in the demo that was released a few months ago and now i just hope MS can resolve them.  :(

Bug No.1: As soon as aircraft wheels lift from runway they stop moving.

Bug No.2: In the flour bombing mission diving and releasing a flour bomb will cause the flour bomb to lift through the plane making it crash.

Sorry if these have been posted before... As I said earlier I hope MS can fix these...

1. Of course the wheels will stop moving. They're not rolling anymore because they're not in contact with the ground once they're in the air. Besides, some of us don't pay that much attention to the wheels because some of the planes we fly have retractable landing gear. Because of that, I have the tendency to NOT pay attention to how the wheels roll. I'm guessing you're the type who flies planes that don't have retractable landing gears.

2. Of course the flour bomb will lift upon release AS YOU BEGIN to dive. You have to gain enough height before diving so that you can straighten a bit. Then, just before releasing the bomb, you should pull back on the stick just slightly so that the bomb won't lift up.

Well, thanks for the report anyways as we now know that the sim supports realistic bomb-release physics. ;D ::)

about the wheels, i think he means that the moment the wheels lift of the ground, they completely stop, rather than slow down smoothly.

with the flour bombs, it seems the bombs just appear out of nowhere and drop, rather than the pilot doing it, or some compartment, so technically, u should crash the moment u go shift+d...

For the second one, as soon as you're in a dive below 1G, you'll be traveling faster towards the earth than an object just falling, cause when just falling you're exactly at one time gravity (1G).

So basically, the flour bomb isn't flying up, you're flying into it.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
