1. Skin-and-Bones

2. Improved water physics [which I noticed when I played the demo]

3. Car traffic affected by certain types of objects [as confirmed by Rollerball's experiments] as well as being able to ride over bridges [confirmed elsewhere].

4. Moving carriers that are still landable [also confirmed by Rollerballs experiments] and are visually improved.

Also the new gliding experience, with tow aircrafts, tow line physics and automatically generated thermals :)

By the way, the tow aircrafts, are they only AI or can a player tow another player ?

Anyone know the current release date? I'm assuming it isn't the October XX date anymore since I've also been seeing "holiday" 2006.

Just preordered a copy at Electronic Boutique for the 17th October. It's supposed to be there waiting for me on the day of release. We'll see.

The majority of the stores like Amazon say that the release date is early October. Others say it's either mid or late October.

Did I miss improved flight models somehow.....they would be a nice enhancement for a flight sim, don't you think?

You haven't missed them.  There are a few tweaks to the default models, but the basic flight dynamics are not significantly changed.    No, you cannot use rocket packs to assist your fully loaded He111's takeoff...  :)
