hi all,

I just installed the FSX demo and when I go to run it the screen goes to the fsx logo thing but then it just freezes on that.
I know nothing about computers so is this a problem with my PC or did i do something wrong?

Sounds like a pc problem. Your computer probably can't handle the amount of data it has.

More than likely Flyboy would be right, possibly a RAM issue?

However I thought I would mention I did have exactly the same thing on installing the demo here.

It was not a RAM issue since there is 2 gig in this machine.

I just ran the install again without deleting anything, problem solved and never came back. Maybe on some systems there is a slight glitch.

It is also worth noting that the demo install puts DX9c in, whether you like it or not. It could simply be that in cases where the DX version is changed then the comp needs a re-run of the demo installation.
