Two screen view?

FSX including FSX Steam version.

Two screen view?

I use 2 screens, top one for "over the dash" view, and bottom one just for instruments.  I this possible in FSX?  Haven

it may not be nessisary but i think it will be possible by doing it the same way you did it in FS9

Well, actiing in that way, you do not get anymore the correct viewpoint in your cockpit (meaning wrong view constraints), and you instrument layout is not valid anymore as well.

I understand your initial intention to re-create a cockpit, by putting the instruments all together in the bottom part of your "screen" (made of two screens), and making the upper screen acting like the forward window, but the final result is not quite you would get in real life, thus even less realistic than the normal forward 2D cockpit view.

But please, don't take my remarks too seriously, I am just a Virtual Cockpit addict, you know ;) I just think there can be nothing more realist (on a screen, I mean) than a good virtual cockpit with the Track-IR system.

All the a/c that I fly have panels like these.

Agree with you that 3d cockpit is better, just wish the detail was more.

Completely agree wih you on this one... I admit I can fly only planes which have detailled VCs, and thus my choice is even more limited than yours :P
