EB Games also ahad a certain Abacus package for release two weeks ago, when it hadn't even been sent out for beta testing by then!

However, having said that, a mid-late October release sounds "about right" for a US release, given that earlier FS version have been released around that time.

I think the release dates you see are just expected, but not official.

For instance a  game called Oblivion (By Bethesda) was expected to some out march the 21st because that was the end of its fiscal year.
Well, it did come out then and I got it day it was out .

really thay said holoday that means more or less christmas and ms would be compleatly nuts not to have this out for christmas so i would not trust that date too much and most big game releases are between september and december for that reason. like halo 2 and gta. its all about the money so i am fully expecting it to be out before the 25th  ;D
