Just curious, you know...

One of my favourite little fun birds, for sunny Sunday afternoon pottering around the countryside.....

(FS 2002 model, running wonderfully in FS 2004)

The Cosmos Ultralight Trike.... >>> http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php ... id=2959576

...anyone know the particular entry in the aircraft.cfg file that deals with the speed at which ones wings starts to "wobble" (overspeed!)...?
(Something to do with overstress).
I would just like to tweak her a little (cheat!) to prevent her from rattling my teeth at speeds exceeding 60 knots!... ::)... ;D...!

Ta, Folks!... ;)...!

Paul....wind in my hair...flies in my teeth...admiring my shoes!... 8-)...!

In aircraft.cfg > flight tuning > parasite drag scalar:

If you lower the number (for ex, to 0.4), the top speed will increase.

Thanks for the tip, Apex!
....I wouldn't have thought of that entry...

With a setting of 0.2 she can now be coaxed up to 80+ knots with care, but she is most happiest at 60 knots cruise (max design speed)..

Still, with a bit of a wobble now and again, I can make my way home a bit quicker now, before it gets too dark!...(VFR Licence)... ;)...!

Ta, Apex!... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]...!

Paul...Flexing my Flexwings!..... 8-)...!

I often also mod the elevator_effectivness & aileron_effectiveness for better flying; the lower the number, the tighter the elevator or aileron.

A 747 was halfway across the Atlantic when the captain got on the loud speaker, "Attention, passengers. We have lost one of our engines, but we can certainly reach London with the three we have left. Unfortunately, we will arrive an hour late as a r esult."
Shortly thereafter, the passengers heard the captain's voice again, "Guess what, folks. We just lost our third engine, but please be assured we can fly with only one. We will now arrive in London three hours late."

At this point, one passenger became furious. "For Pete's sake," he shouted, "If we lose another engine, we'll be up here all night!"
